John Crane is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and engineering of mission-critical flow control solutions for increased efficiency, emission reductions, and energy transformation. 

Seven Seas Petroleum (SSP) and John Crane partnered 2 decades ago by setting up a fully equipped repair center for mechanical seals, the only seal service center in Oman. The partnership has been fruitful and accomplished the goals that were set out.

The facility aims at enhancing local services capability within Oman and ICV (In-Country Value) with a quick turnaround for repairs/refurbishment for our clients in the region. This facility serves as a platform to develop the technical skills and experience of young Omani engineers/technicians in mechanical seal services and maintenance. More importantly, it is intended to increase job opportunities for Omani nationals with more repair contracts/agreements with Omani companies, thereby boosting the local economy.

The facility is a boon as it saves considerable time and money for our customers as mechanical seals are now being repaired within Oman.
